In addition to the appraisal and valuation services offered by the Organisation, we regularly consult in the fields of Property Ownership with specific reference to Sectional Title (Strata/Condominium) and property development including establishment of the scheme. Rules, budget etc.
Dispute resolution especially with reference to the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act and Regulations.
The Schemes are all legislated and there is a variety of Legislation which would govern the scheme as well as the rules which maybe formulated in addition to the Statutory Regulated Rules.
Sectional Titles Act (95 of 1986) pertains to the ownership of the scheme and addresses the practicality of the sectional title registration and ownership.

The Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act (8 of 2011) (“STMA”) addresses the functions and powers of the Body Corporate. Regulations published under this legislation will address the rules of the Scheme.

The Community Schemes Ombud Services Act (9 of 2011) (CSOS) established this institution for resolving of disputes primarily between owners of the sections within the scheme.
The Ombudsman will adjudicate on matters between the parties and could rely on written or oral evidence,
